Horace Maynard Middle

Assistant Principal

Ms. Brantley has spent the last decade serving students in Union County Public Schools. She began her career as a biology teacher at Union County High School in 2016, where she spent nine years in the classroom. In 2025, she transitioned into school leadership and now serves as the Assistant Principal at Horace Maynard Middle School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a Master of Science in Secondary Science Education, both from the University of Tennessee, and later earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay University.

As an administrator, Ms. Brantley is committed to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff. She is a proud graduate of Union County Schools and feels fortunate to now work with the community that played an important role in her education.
