Early Life and Education
Mr. Rose grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Bell County, where he was a proud member of the Bell County Bobcats and graduated in 1983. After high school, Mr. Rose pursued higher education at Southeast Community College, earning both an Associate in Arts (AA) and an Associate in Science (AS) in 1997. His academic curiosity and dedication led Mr. Rose to continue studies at Lincoln Memorial University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999, followed by a Master’s in Administration and Supervision in 2005.
Teaching Career
In 2000, Mr. Rose began his teaching career at Horace Maynard Middle School, starting as a Reading teacher. Over the years, Mr. Rose developed a deep passion for education and helping students succeed. His commitment to academic excellence and students was evident in every lesson, and he quickly became a respected figure in the school community.
Leadership and Administration
After years of inspiring students in the classroom, Mr. Rose transitioned to an administrative role in 2022, bringing his experience, leadership, and vision to a new capacity. As an administrator, Mr. Rose continues to impact the lives of students and teachers, working to create a positive, safe, and effective learning environment.
Looking Ahead
With over two decades of experience in education, Mr. Rose remains committed to helping shape the future of our community through both direct teaching and school leadership. Mr. Rose is excited about the continued growth in his career and the opportunity to foster an even greater impact on students and staff.
Hobbies
Mr. Rose is an avid outdoor enthusiast, water, in it, on it, under it, and around it-lake life. Mr. Rose also has a lifelong love of reading.
